Local Children's Authors Help Celebrate Zane Grey!
Yesterday, some of the KIDLIT, Ink children's authors signed books at the Zane Grey House and Museum in Lackawaxen, PA.
The scenic Delaware River, bald eagles, Smokey the Bear, and children's authors, and children. What could be more fun?
We met new people and connected with some old friends.
As I conversed with one lady we discovered that my newest picture book manuscript mirrors her son's story and tears came to her eyes as I told her the premise. She hoped it found a publishing home soon so her son't story could be told, and many other like his.
We were even serenaded by a folk guitarist with his version of Paperback Writer. We all enjoyed him sang along.
