Kindness ROCKS!

To commemorate the release of their book The Emotion Thesaurus, Becca and Angela at The Bookshelf Muse are hosting a TITANIC Random Act Of Kindness BLITZ. And because I think KINDNESS is contagious, I'm participating too!

***I chose to blitz Mona Pease, my crit buddy from The Red Pen Writers MG Critique Group because she has helped me tremendously with her knowledge of all things country and colonial. She has guided me through specifics such as the making of brown bread, the stringing of mushrooms and pointing out that jute was used for fabric and not rope in 1776. My MG historical fiction novel is stronger because of her.

Thank you Mona. For my RAOK gift I'm offering to help you with your pitch line and query letter when you are ready to shop your MG novel to agents and/or editors.

I really appreciate Mona who blogs at http://monapease.blogspot.com

If you have a minute, please stop in and tell her how awesome she is!***

Do you know someone special that you'd like to randomly acknowledge?
Don't be shy--come join us and celebrate!
Send them an email, give them a shout out, or show your appreciation in another way.

Kindness makes the world go round. :)
Becca and Angela have a special RAOK gift waiting for you as well, so hop on over to The Bookshelf Muse to pick it up.

Have you ever participated in or been the recipient of a Random Act Of Kindness?
Let me know in the comments!

  2. As a historical fiction writer, I know how hard it is to get those little details right, so congrats, Mona, on your critique gift! And thank you, Gayle, for spreading the love!
